SOBP Redelsheimer Distinguished Award

Purpose
The SOBP Redelsheimer Distinguished Award was established by the Society of Biological Psychiatry to honor major breakthroughs in the field of biological psychiatry.  This award is to recognize past research that has been completed and has contributed significantly to the advancement of biological psychiatry.

Guidelines

  1. The award is a $50,000 cash prize and an engraved plaque.
  2. Because of the stature of this award it is recognized that it may not be awarded annually.
  3. Members and non-members of the Society are eligible for this award.
  4. A recipient of the SOBP Gold Medal Award may also receive the Redelsheimer Distinguished Award in Biological Psychiatry
